Local fire departments arrived at Budget Inn to inspect a reported fire on Woodland Highway in Clearfield at the Budget Inn. Fire department personnel from Clearfield, Hyde and Lawrence Township were present.
According to Kevin Graham, Captain of the Lawrence Township Fire Department’s Millroad Station, there had only been smoke conditions, no fire. A combination of a blown circuit breaker and some wires linked to two outside lights had begun smoldering in the Inn’s office overhang.
