CLEARFIELD – Work will resume the week of Jan. 2 on state Route 53 in the Kylertown area. Flaggers will be in place on SR 53 to enforce an alternating traffic pattern from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. The traffic restriction is necessary so that crews can make repairs to the Interstate 80 eastbound bridge that spans SR53. All work is weather dependent. The majority of the project is expected to be complete by Jan. 13. Crews will halt repairs and traffic will flow as usual the week of Dec. 26. Drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits, use caution in construction zones and always buckle up. PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out. Follow PennDOT on Twitter .
