Ms. Moskel’s 4th grade class at Philipsburg Elementary helped raise money for a good cause. Instead of Christmas gifts for herself, the children brought in donations for the Union “Old Mud” Church in Philipsburg. Those donations were matched by donations from several local businesses including the following: Sharon Pusey State Farm, of Houtzdale; John and Cindee Decker; Tim and Judy Decker; Joyce and Alan Kitko, King Coal Sales; and Andy Coleman of Coleman’s Asphalt Service. IN all the class raised $445 for the Church. Pictured in the photo is Ms. Moskel and her class and Emily Gette-Doyle accepting the donation on behalf of the Philipsburg Historical Foundation.
