SNYDER TOWNSHIP – A firearm was discharged into an occupied Westville Road residence sometime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday in Snyder Township, the DuBois-based state police reported.
According to the incident report, someone arrived at the scene and allegedly fired a round into a 64-year-old Brockway man’s residence. The shots entered the residence’s west side just below the kitchen window.
State police said a PVC sink pipe and kitchen cabinet door were damaged. Damage was estimated at $20 for the pipe and at $40 for the cabinet. The victim’s vinyl siding also sustained $40 worth of damage.
