CLEARFIELD – Due to delivery delays, PennDOT has changed the Karthaus Oak Hill Road closure and detour to the week of Dec. 19. PennDOT originally expected the closure and detour to be in effect the week of Dec. 12. The Oak Hill Road (T-748) closure is necessary so repairs can be made to a township bridge that spans Mosquito Creek. During the 5-day closure, an official detour using Market Street and Pottersdale Road will be in place. PennDOT now expects the closure to end on Friday, Dec. 23. All work is weather dependent. PennDOT reminds drivers to follow detour signs, obey posted speed limits and always buckle up.
