CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Revitalization Corporation, (CRC) and Clearfield Borough presented Gae Kane with a Certificate of Appreciation for her hard work and dedication towards the revitalization efforts of downtown. Gae Kane has faithfully volunteered with the Clearfield Revitalization Corporation and has donated countless hours towards research and the preparation of many grant proposals, such as the Walkability Plan and the PA Wilds Design Grant. The Walkability Plan paved the way for CRC to request funding for the park benches in downtown, and the PA Wilds Design Grant will allow professional guidance towards design projects in the greater downtown area. Presenting Gae Kane with this certificate is the CRC Main Street Manager Kellie Truman and Borough Operations Manager Leslie Stott.
Truman said, “The CRC is extremely appreciative for dedicated citizens in our community like Gae, who donated their time and talents towards the betterment of Clearfield. These project could not have happened without Gae’s initiative.”
“The Clearfield Borough Planning Commission is so very grateful to receive this grant. These monies will pay for professional services to guide the Commission in a manner that will best suit the downtown area,” commented Stott. “Once this process is completed, the Commission will then have the tools and knowledge to help them work on other areas in the Borough.”
