DUBOIS – The Sandy Township Police Department is investigating a child abuse case in the DuBois area.
Officers were called to Oklahoma Elementary Schoo. for a report of child abuse involving a 6-year-old boy. The school nurse discovered multiple bruises on the child, who told police that his mom gets mad at him.
Officers and Children, Youth and Family Services took custody of the boy, and his younger sister. The 25-year-old mother is under investigation.
