HOUTZDALE – Houtzdale Community Partnership Association will be holding a meeting on Dec. 4 at 1:00 p.m. to finalize plans for the “Houtzdale Christmas Downtown” to be held on Dec. 6 at 6:00 pm. Mr. and Mrs. Santa will be coming to town to light the Christmas tree at the lot of the First Commonwealth Bank on Hannah Street. Rudolph and Rudy will be making their usual visit. Everyone is urged to participate in the Ministerium’s opening services, Caroling and the Lighting of the tree. No one will be admitted to the fire hall for a visit with Santa until after these services. Preschoolers and Children 12 and under from the Moshannon Valley Elementary School District are invited to attend. Bring a camera and have your picture taken with Mr. and Mrs. Santa.

All attending are urged to bring a non-perishable item for the local food bank. The organization will also be donating five $10.00 gift certificates to the local food bank along with donated items.
Interested persons from the area are urged to attend the meetings of HCPA with help to organize and with new ideas for planning events for the town.
