USPS Intercepts Package Containing Marijuana

On Thursday, representatives of the United State Postal Service intercepted a package en route to Curwensville from California. The package was scanned via the K9 unit and contained 3.2 pounds of marijuana, according to the Clearfield-based state police.

On Friday, representatives of the USPS Troop C Vice and the Clearfield State Police conducted a controlled delivery of the package to Jacquelynn Glace, 24, Curwensville. She was taken into custody without incident.

A subsequent interview of she and Dennis Glace, 39, of Curwensville resulted in the search of their residence and the seizure of an additional one ounce of marijuana, numerous items of drug paraphernalia related to its sale and use, $3,000 in cash and a .22-caliber pistol.

Dennis Glace has been charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned and placed in the Clearfield County Jail.

Additional charges are currently pending against both.
