Obituary Notice: Margaret M. Bracco

, 90 of Clearfield went to be with the Lord on Nov. 17, 2011 at the Ridgeview Elder Care Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville. 

She was born on Feb. 18, 1921 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Timpano) Call. 

Mrs. Bracco was a homemaker and will be remembered as a wonderful cook and baker.

She was a devout Roman Catholic, having graduated from St. Francis High School and having been a lifelong member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.

During her younger years, she loved to dance and play cards.

Later, she continued her devotion to the church as evident by her former membership in the Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by a son,

        John M. Bracco and wife Joan                                                            Clearfield

A granddaughter:

        Jennifer Whipkey and husband Bryon                                            Wexford

Two step-grandsons:                                     

        William M. Bowen                                                                                   Millersburg

        Jeffrey S. Bowen and wife Jennifer                                                 Clearfield

Four great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren,who all were her special delight:

        Alec, Grace, Alaina and Sarah Whipkey

        William Andrew, Morgan Rae and Caleb Maxwell Bowen

She is also survived by a brother and two sisters:

        Clare Catalina                                                                                             New Rochelle, NY

        Eleanor Vincent                                                                                        Wilmington, DE 

And several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews including her two nieces, Barbara Shapiro and Romona Fedele and great niece, Danielle. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen and Louise.      

Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Monday at 10:00 a.m. with Msgr. Henry L. Krebs as celebrant.  Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Sunday from 1-3:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9-9:30 a.m.

On Sunday at the funeral home, a Christian Vigil Service will be held at 12.45 p.m. and the rosary will be recited at 2:45 p.m.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Catholic Church, 212 S. Front Street, Clearfield.
