White House Shooter Apprehended

INDIANA – WJACTV.com has reported that authorities in Indiana County arrested a man wanted in connection with an investigation of a shooting near the white house on Friday night.

The U.S. Secret Service said Pennsylvania authorities arrested Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez Wednesday at a hotel near Indiana.

“I don’t know how they ended up in Indiana County, at the Hampton Inn or how he did, and how they tracked him, I have no idea,” said Lt. Brad Shields of the Pennsylvania State Police

There’s no say as to how Ortega-Hernandez ended up in White Township, Indiana County, but federal investigators knew he would be back to a hotel he’s visited before keeping Hampton Inn employees on the lookout.

Shields said, “…Alerted them to the fact that this subject had been there in the past, and may come back in the future, and that if he did appear, they were to notify local law enforcement and the Secret Service, and that’s what they did.”
