Novey Recycling, Inc. of Clearfield surprised six veterans on Veterans Day. Customers were greeted at the counter with “Happy Veterans Day” and then were asked if they were a veteran. Six customers, five men, and one women, were able to produce some type of military identification and were rewarded with a t-shirt and a $50.00 gift certificate for Novey’s U-PULL-IT Auto Salvage.

Christopher is co-owner of X-Pert Communications, a State College based company that provides security camera sytems, and tele-communications wiring to both residential, and commercial customers.

When asked about the veterans surprise Novey Recycling Operations Manager Mike Boal said “We try to stay actively involved in the community. It was Veterans Day, and I decided that any customer that said they were a veteran, and could produce some type of identification as proof, we were going to give a t-shirt and a $50.00 gift certificate. I had no idea how many shirts or certificates we might end up giving out, but was committed to giving something back to the men and women who have defended our constitution, and freedom knowing that they may lose their life doing so. “
