Police Find Synthetic Marijuana at Two Convenience Stores

WOODLAND – Over 600 bags of synthetic marijuana were found at two convenience stores in Clearfield County.

According to the state police in Clearfield, on Nov. 7 a search warrant was served at the Uni-Marts in Hyde and Curwensville. As a result, 612 foil bags of synthetic marijuana were seized. Police said the street value of the substance is $15,000.

Police said the investigation is ongoing. No other information was provided.

Synthetic marijuana was banned in Pennsylvania in June 2011.
