“Chick” Charles T. Brudon III, 64, of Clearfield, passed away Oct. 28, 2011 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born on June 5, 1947 in Trenton, NJ, the son of the late Charles and Elaine (Herbert) Brudon.
He was a graduate of Morrisville High School. He was employed with US Steel Fairless Works for 30 years and also worked as a School Bus driver for Clearfield School District and was a Bus Driver Trainer for Fullington for 10years.
Chick was a member of BPOE Elks in Clearfield, volunteer firemen and EMT in Morrisville.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to Nascar races, the Steelers and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Sharon (Dale) Brudon of Clearfield, who he married on July 16, 1972; two daughters: Sherri Lynn Brudon of Bellefonte, Pa and Ginger Leigh (Stephen) Cain of Bellefonte, Pa and a son Daniel Edward. Six granddaughters: Caitlin Jo, Sarah Louise, Carley Rae, Cassidie Leigh, Annabelle Elizabeth and Gracie Sharon.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents and a brother David.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Nov. 5, 2011, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Clearfield with Rev. Dr. Robert Rupp officiating.
