- An incident of theft reportedly occurred sometime between 4 p.m. Oct. 10 and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at Apple Tractor Sales, Brockway in Snyder Township, Jefferson County. A person(s) removed a trailer hitch adaptor for a skid steer loader from the storage lot.
- Moderate and minor injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident at 7:40 p.m. Oct. 26 along Arch Road in Washington Township, Jefferson County. A 35-year-old Brockway woman made a right-hand turn onto Arch Road and under-compensated for the turn. Her vehicle traveled across the centerline and into the path of a vehicle driven by Andrew J. Glover, 27, of Brockway. The operators didn’t have time to react, and the front of the woman’s vehicle struck the front of the Glover vehicle. Both vehicles came to a rest at the point in the southbound lane. Brittany A. Hibbard, 20, of Brockway suffered moderate injuries, while 1-year-old and 3-year-old girls, both of Brockway, sustained minor injuries. All three were passengers in the Glover vehicle. All parties were using the proper safety restraints. Charges are currently facing the Brockway woman who operated the first vehicle. Police were assisted at the scene by the Falls Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
