- At approximately 12:37 a.m. Saturday, a person(s) threw a pumpkin at a vehicle operated by a 27-year-old Punxsutawney man, while he was traveling west on Interstate 80 near mile marker 134 in Cooper Township, Clearfield County. The pumpkin was thrown from an overpass, causing damage to the front windshield of a Universal Well Services vehicle. The man wasn’t injured, and damage is estimated at $100. - An incident of public drunkenness and disorderly conduct reportedly occurred at 7 p.m. Friday at the Clearfield Hospital. A 55-year-old Morrisdale man was intoxicated in the hospital to the point that he was a threat to himself and the hospital personnel. He caused a public disturbance by acting in a violent and tumultuous behavior. Charges have been filed through the district court.
- No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 9:50 a.m. Saturday along Interstate 80 at mile marker 129 in Graham Township, Clearfield County. A 57-year-old Flemington, NJ man was traveling westbound and attempting to pass a vehicle when he lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle traveled off the left berm in a counter-clockwise motion and struck the embankment. It continued up the embankment before striking a tree and coming to its final rest in a wooded area along the left side. The man was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident. He was cited for driving at a safe speed.
- An incident of driving under the influence reportedly occurred at approximately 2:39 a.m. Saturday along state Route 153 in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. A 22-year-old Clearfield man was arrested for suspicious of DUI after being stopped for a traffic violation. He was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for blood testing. Charges are currently pending.
- An incident of criminal trespass reportedly occurred at 10:30 a.m. Sunday along the Wallaceton – Morrisdale Highway in Boggs Township, Clearfield County. Three suspects were hunting on a 35-year-old Morrisdale woman’s property without permission. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- An incident of assault/harassment reportedly occurred at approximately 5 a.m. Sunday at a Second Street residence in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. A physical altercation occurred when a 25-year-old Osceola Mills male attempted to bite a 24-year-old Osceola Mills woman in her left cheek area. The accused will be cited through the district court.
- An incident of theft by unlawful taking reportedly occurred sometime between 7 a.m. Oct. 14 and 7 a.m. Friday in Ramey Borough, Clearfield Borough. A person(s) stole a bucket full of copper pipe that was valued at $300 from a 75-year-old Ramey man. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- An incident of theft from a motor vehicle reportedly occurred sometime between 7 a.m. Oct. 18 and 7 a.m. Friday in Pike Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) stole a Kwik Fill credit card from a 51-year-old Clearfield woman’s vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident at 3 p.m. Friday along U.S. Route 322 in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. A diesel truck driven by a 32-year-old Huntingdon and another driven by Earl C. Sellers, 41, of Lonaconing, MD were traveling east. The Sellers truck was in front, as both approached a red light. The Sellers truck came to a stop; however, the first truck wasn’t able to stop in time and collided into the back of the Sellers truck. Both were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident. The first operator was cited for following too closely. Ruke Towing removed the first truck from the scene.
