- A Treasure Lake man reported Wednesday that someone broke into and ransacked his boat, while it was docked at the Marina. A person(s) also removed a check from the locked glove compartment. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- A 63-year-old South Brady Street man reported Wednesday that his 18-year-old daughter and some friends were at his home, attempting to retrieve the girl’s belongings to leave. At arrival, police could hear yelling from the residence. The situation was handled without further incident.
- A 27-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported Thursday that she was in Staples at which time someone entered her vehicle, which belonged to her roommate, and removed her purse and several other items. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
- On Thursday, a DuBois Mall maintenance worker reported that they’d found drug paraphernalia in the women’s restroom. The items were confiscated by police and disposed of.
- On Thursday, a DuBois Mall maintenance worker reported that they’d found a purse in a garbage can. The purse belonged to a woman who reported it missing from the Laundromat in DuBois.
- A wallet, which belonged to a Grove City man, was removed from the counter Thursday at Monroe Muffler.
- On Thursday, a 55-year-old Reynoldsville woman lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a curve on Wayne Road. Her vehicle crossed the center lane and struck an embankment. Following her accident, another vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Reynoldsville girl also lost control and struck the embankment. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
- Police responded Thursday to a South Main Street residence for a verbal argument between a 44-year-old woman and her 17-year-old son. They handled the situation without further incident.
- On Thursday, police responded to Wal-Mart for a man who was reportedly threatening to harm himself. At arrival, they located the 21-year-old Morrisdale man in possession of a knife. The man cooperated with police and requested to be transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
