Arthur A. Haney, 71, of Curwensville died Wednesday at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born July 4, 1940 in Clearfield, he was the son of Homer Austin and Maude (Lumadue) Haney. Mr. Haney was retired from Polymer Plastics in Leola.
Surviving are four children, Bonnie Caldwell and her husband Kent of Curwensville; Brenda Peterson and her husband, Russ; Bill Haney and his wife, Cary; and Barbara Haney, all of Clearfield. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Chris Peterson, Dustin Caldwell, Ryan Caldwell and Kenndra McKendrick; a brother, Homer Haney of Leola and his former wife of 28 years the former Janet (Keith).
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville with the Rev. Todd T. Hogue officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery Woodland.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
