- On Friday, police were called to the Garden Grove Townhouses for reported loud music. They handled the situation without incident.
- A 44-year-old Troutville woman and a 23-year-old Holidaysburg woman were involved in an accident at the intersection of East DuBois Avenue and Commons Drive on Friday. No injuries were reported. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
- A Sandy Township resident reported Friday that an unknown person from California called their residence. The caller stated they needed money so they could get their father out of trouble. They wouldn’t provide any details. The call was a known scam because the resident’s father lives in the area.
- A 26-year-old DuBois man lost control of his vehicle on a slight bend in Oklahoma Salem Road, causing it to spin, overturn and strike an embankment and tree on Saturday. Minor injuries were reported, and alcohol is a suspected factor. Charges are currently pending blood test results.
- Two false alarms were reported at Kwik Fill on Saturday.
- On Sunday, a 32-year-old Treasure Lake woman was severely injured after she lost control of her vehicle on Bay Road, causing it to strike a telephone pole and large tree. Her vehicle was towed from the scene. Witnesses told police they observed the vehicle swerving all over the roadway before the accident and didn’t see any brake lights prior to impact. Police said alcohol is a suspected factor.
- Officers responded to a Wilson Avenue residence Sunday for a reported domestic dispute. A 48-year-old woman and her live-in 43-year-old boyfriend engaged in an argument. The situation was handled without incident.
- Officers responded to Spot Road, Country Place residence on Sunday for a reported home invasion. A 37-year-old woman reported waking up and finding an unknown man who was standing over her bed. The man was gone prior to police arrival.
- A false alarm was reported at Ross’s on Sunday.
- A Clipper Court, Treasure Lake resident reported an attempted burglary on Sunday. The woman reported coming home and finding damage to the side door of her home, and it appeared someone had attempted to break in.
- A Lundgren Road man reported Sunday that his neighbor’s dogs have continually been coming into his yard and making a mess.
