OSCEOLA MILLS – Wal-Mart recently selected Osceola Mills Elementary School for its Teacher Rewards Program. Ten teachers received $100 gift cards to purchase supplies for their classrooms, and another 14 teachers received $20 gift cards.
Through the program, local Wal-Mart stores, distribution centers and Sam’s club locations across the U.S. are eligible to select one local K-8 grade public school. Principal Mrs. Smutz submitted information on behalf of the school, which was ultimately selected. Rick Schaffer, area manager at Wal-mart in Clearfield, presented the gift cards to the teachers during a morning meeting on Oct. 13.
The 10 winners were Marisa Thompson, Kylie Minarchick, Diane Degol, Brandon McCliment, Kathy McClelland, Danielle Parks, Karen King, Jenn Ibberson, Gretchen Shively and Stephanie Lukens.
P-O would like to thank Wal-Mart for its generous donation.
