CURWENSVILLE — The Lady Tide returned to their home court Thursday night to face off with District 9 foe DuBois Central Catholic.
Curwensville swept their visitors, for the second time this year, by the scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-17 to even their record at 7-7 on the season that is now heading down the back stretch.

Olivia Prave – 5 service points, 13 assists
Katrina Seaburn – 5 service points, 10 kills, 4 blocks
Hannah Bressler – 4 service points, 19 digs
Tierra Shope – 6 kills
Lady Tide head coach Sandy Bailor had this to say about her team after the win, “It was a great team effort tonight. I was pleased with the way the girls rebounded from Tuesday’s match against Punxy (a 3-1 loss). Madi Peterman and Ricki Wells had another great night at the serving line and Katrina Seaburn, Savannah Strickland, Tierra Shope, and Ricki Wells did a nice job attacking the ball, which is a credit to Hannah Bressler and Abby Johnsons defensive play.”
Monday October 24 will be Pink Out Night when the Lady Tide host the Clearfield Lady Bisons.
Bailor added that, “..we are hoping both communities come out to support this cause (fight against breast cancer) along with supporting their volleyball teams.”
