Corbett Orders Flags to Fly at Half-Staff to Honor Vietnam War Pilot

HARRISBURG – Gov. Tom Corbett has ordered all U.S. and Pennsylvania flags at the Capitol Complex and at commonwealth facilities in Cameron County lowered to half-staff Saturday in honor of Air Force Major Thomas E. Clark, of Emporium.

Clark, a pilot, was shot down over Vietnam in February 1969. His remains were recently identified, returned to the U.S. and will be interred on Oct. 22.

All Pennsylvanians are invited to join in this tribute.
