Robert Eugene Buck, 76, of Curwensville died Friday in Curwensville. He was the last member of his generation.
Born Feb. 25, 1935, he was the son of Leslie and Sarah (Hoover) Buck. Mr. Buck was retired from the Penelec Shawville Generating Plant as a maintenance mechanic.
He was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church, the Curwensville Noble Lodge #480 F. & A.M., the Williamsport Consistory and the Rescue Hose and Ladder Co. Curwensville.
On April 8, 1956 in Clearfield, he wed the former Peggy Maxwell, who survives along with two sons, Joseph Buck and Scott Buck and his wife, Bonne, both of Curwensville; two granddaughters, Tania McGarry and Erica Buck; and three great-granddaughters Emily, Haley and Olivia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Jo Buck.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Curwensville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Robert S. Ludrowsky officiating.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. until the hour of services at the church.
Private committal services will be held at the Bloomington Cemetery at the convenience of the family at a later date.
