- An incident of burglary reportedly occurred sometime between 12 p.m. June 5 and 4 p.m. Friday at a Caledonia Pike camp in Girard Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) gained entry inside the camp through an unlocked window, and once inside, they removed approximately 150 feet of copper tubing, a trail camera, alcohol, and a Reich’s Dairy stainless steel milk can. They also removed a brass army lock from the outside gas tanks and approximately 50 feet of 12T UF wire. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident at 9:55 p.m. Saturday along Interstate 80 at mile marker 128.2 in Graham Township, Clearfield County. Driver Aaron E. Baker, 34, and Patrick W. Baker, 33, both of Reynolds, IN, were traveling west along I-80 in the right lane. The (Patrick) Baker International Harvester started slowing at which time (Aaron) Baker failed to observe the same. Once she noticed, she applied the brakes of her pick-up truck but wasn’t able to get slowed in time. Her pick-up then impacted the rear of the International Harvester. Police were assisted at the scene by Bigler Boyz Towing.
