DUBOIS – A DuBois man accused of possessing over 40 videos of child pornography was schedlued for a court appearanc of Friday.
Raymond Mikelonis, Sr., age 55, of East Weber Avenue, DuBois, faces charges of sexual abuse of children- possession of child pornography, F3, 47 counts.
An affidavit of probable cause filed byOfficers Steve Maholtz states that on Sept. 1, Mikelonis’s home was searched by state law enforcement personnel. Upon completion of the search of the residence, three DVD/CDs were recovered from underneath a mattress. The DVD/CDs were transported to the DuBois City Police Department for inspection. Maholtz was able to view one of the DVD which contained 47 videos that depicted children performing sexual acts.
On Friday Mikelonis waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
