- On Wednesday, a 41-year-old Weedville man was observed by Wal-Mart employees eating a box of blueberries in the store. He was leaving the store without paying for them. Charges were filed.
- A false alarm was reported Wednesday at both Dunham’s and TJ Maxx.
- A 39-year-old Dixon Avenue woman reported Thursday that she engaged in an argument with her 15-year-old daughter who then left the residence. Officers located the girl at her grandmother’s residence and asked her to return home. The situation was handled without incident.
- A 30-year-old Dixon Avenue woman reported Thursday that she engaged in an argument with her step-children’s mother when the 39-year-old woman arrived to pick them up. The situation was handled without incident.
- An 18-year-old Somerset, NJ was observed Thursday by Wal-Mart employees concealing merchandise in his backpack and then leaving the store without paying for it. Officers apprehended the man along state Route 255. Charges have been filed.
- On Thursday, police were dispatched to a Hanes Drive residence, while a 51-year-old man was allegedly out of control. He was experiencing mental health issues and on various medications and drugs. He became aggressive with officers, was taken into custody and transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
- An 18-year-old Reynoldsville man was observed Thursday by Sears employees attempting to take a 27-inch television, which was valued at $499.99, from the store without paying for it. Charges will be filed.
- On Thursday, police were dispatched to a Hill Street residence for a domestic disturbance. A 63-year-old man had been consuming alcohol and started attacking his 61-year-old wife and allegedly threw a can of green paint at her. The man was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Clearfield County Jail to await arraignment.
- A 46-year-old Dixon Avenue woman reported Thursday that she engaged in a dispute with her estranged husband’s 34-year-old girlfriend. The three live in the same residence and engaged in a verbal altercation over bills. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- A social security card was found Thursday in the parking lot at the Blinker Sheetz.
