- An incident of burglary reportedly occurred sometime between 3 p.m. Sept. 5 and 1 p.m. Sept. 20 along Chestnut Ridge Road off of Knobs Road in Goshen Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) entered a 68-year-old Mechanicsburg man’s camp and removed a DVD player, hunting boots, a Winchester .22 rifle and a Savage .22 over 410 rifle. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
- At 9:55 a.m. Tuesday, a 28-year-old Houtzdale man was in possession of a homemade weapon. Charges were filed through the district court.
- A firearms violation reportedly occurred at 12:58 p.m. Dec. 28, 2010 when a 22-year-old Philipsburg woman attempted to purchase a firearm at a local gun dealer. During the required records check, it was discovered that she was prohibited from possessing one. Charges were filed through the district court.
