CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week for the week of Sept. 19, 2011.
Shaw identified the Fugitive as Kylee Martin, age 28, of Dutchtown Road, Houtzdale, Pennsylvania.
Shaw stated that Martin is wanted for failure to appear at criminal call on Sept. 15, 2011.
On March 11, 2011, Officer Michael Morris of the Lawrence Township Police Department, filed a criminal complaint charging Martin with: 1) retail theft, M2; 2) receiving stolen property, M2; and 3) criminal trespass, M3.
An affidavit of probable cause filed by Morris states that on Feb. 25, 2011, the Lawrence Township Police received a report of a theft in progress at the Walmart Supercenter. Upon making contact with Martin in the store, Martin then turned over to Police several items of merchandise that had been concealed underneath her clothing.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for April 20, 2011, at which time all charges were held for Court. On Sept. 15, 2011, Martin failed to appear for Criminal Call and a bench was issued for her arrest.
