Ferdenant “Toots” (DeZaiffe) Killinger, 91, of Ramey passed away Sept. 17, 2011 at 10:10 a.m. Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg.
She was born on Jan. 5, 1920 at Ginter, a daughter of the late Frederick Desire DeZaiffe, Sr. and Anastasia Rose Merance (Bierlair) DeZaiffe.
Mrs. Killinger was Baptist by faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking and baking.
In 1940 she wed Raymond Joseph Killinger, who preceded her in death on June 5, 1970. She is survived by a daughter and a son; Barbara J. Natalie and her husband Lee L. Lowry of State College and Cecil R. Killinger, Sr. of Bellefonte.
Mrs. Killinger is survived by five grandchildren; Gerard Gmerek and his wife Angela, Cecil R. Killinger, Jr., Jamie Lynn Swisher, James R. Killinger, Dawn Marie Killinger, and one great grandson, Jared Gmerek. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Killinger was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Killinger; 8 brothers, Frederick, Jr., Camille, Homer, Erman, Clovis, Gilbert, Edmund and Leonard; and 3 sisters, Olive, Hortence and Merance.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc. Ramey.
Funeral Services will be held on Sept. 21 at 11:00 a.m. in the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc., Ramey, will Rev. Thomas A. McCoy officiating.
