- Scams have been reportedly occurring in the area, and police would like to remind residents that they shouldn’t send anyone money in order to claim cash prizes. Also, they should never provide their personal information to anyone not known by them.

- An alarm was reported at a local business along state Route 879. Police arrived and found the building to be secure. The alarm was due to the storm.
