Obituary Notice: Samuel K. Fleck

Samuel K. Fleck, 68, of West Decatur died Thursday at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Born Feb. 3, 1943 in Bradford Township, Clearfield County, he was the son of the late Howard Robert and Margaret (Maines) Fleck. He attended the First Baptist Church, Philipsburg

Mr. Fleck was a truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He’s survived by one daughter, Allica “Cis” Hutton and her husband, Ray of Philipsburg; two sisters and Eileen Myers of Winburne and Christine Fleck of Osceola Mills.

Also surviving are a half-brother, Raymond J. Fleck of Sandy Ridge; three grandchildren, Choneene Lancaste, Jarrett Lancaste and Cheyenne Hutton; and one great-grandson, Jace Hutton.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fleck was preceded in death by three sisters, Irene Vaux, Julia Takahaski and Mary Etta Bell and four brothers, Howard, Neldon, John and James Fleck.

Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Ted G. Seibert officiating.  At the request of Mr. Fleck, there will be no public visitation.
