UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State field hockey team has moved up two spots in the Kookaburra/NFHCA poll, which was released on Tuesday. A total of three Big Ten teams remain in the top 20 poll.
In total, the Lions have eight opponents on the 2011 schedule that are in the top 20, including four in the top 10: Old Dominion(2), Connecticut (4), Virginia (7), Duke (9), Princeton (13), Michigan (14), Iowa (15) and Indiana (19). Three other 2011 opponents – Northwestern, Ohio State and Michigan State – are also among others receiving votes.
