Obituary Notice: Elizabeth Williams

Elizabeth Williams, 61, of Clearfield died Friday at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Nov. 28, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Orman and Anna (Russell) Stevenson. She was employed as a nurse’s aid for the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for more than 20 years.

She was married to Terry A. Williams on April 30, 1967 and who survives her at home. She’s survived by six children, Brenda Williams of Clearfield; Terry A. Williams of Midlothian, TX; Floyd O. Williams of Clay, NY; Peggy A. Williams Nelson of Colorado Springs, CO; Joseph M. Williams of Madera; and Sandra Williams of Brisbin.

She’s survived by grandchildren, Michael and Zachary Odrosky, Courtney Ann Hirsch and Casey Michael Leigy, all of Clearfield and Brittany of Colorado Springs.

Mrs. Williams was the youngest of her family and is survived by five siblings, Fred Pharis and his wife, Naomi of Montoursville and Donald Stevenson and his wife, Barbara; Gerald Stevenson and his wife, Gladys; Violet Boeding and her husband, Edward; and Viola Mincer, all of Renovo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steven J. Williams; two sisters, Dorothy Lewis and Marion Botsford; two brothers, Raymond Pharis Sr. and Kenneth Stevenson; and a nephew, Raymond Pharis Jr.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no public visitation.
