- An investigation is ongoing into a single vehicle accident that occurred at 2:25 a.m. Saturday along U.S. Route 322 approximately one mile east of Philipsburg Borough. Randy Wilson Jr., 30, of State College was traveling westbound when he lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle had traveled off the northern side of the roadway and onto the grass before overturning multiple times. His vehicle came to its final rest upright, facing north. Wilson was injured in the accident, but the severity of his injuries weren’t given in the report. His vehicle sustained major damage.
- An alcohol-related accident was reported at 3:28 a.m. Sunday along South Second Street in Philipsburg Borough. A 43-year-old Philipsburg woman was pulled over for driving without her vehicle’s headlights on. Further investigation resulted in her arrested for driving under the influence. DUI and related charges are currently pending through the district court.
