- A 65-year-old Huntingdon man reported Wednesday that someone removed a Briggs and Stratton push mower from his shed at Cayman Landing. The person appeared to have cut the lock to gain entry.
- A 45-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported Wednesday that sometime overnight, someone kicked in a screen door leading to her bedroom.
- A Circle Road resident reported Wednesday that her 29-year-old neighbor came to her yard and started yelling at her children who were playing. The neighbor allegedly accused them of stealing her cellular phone and engaged in a verbal altercation. Police handled the situation without further incident.
- On Wednesday, a vehicle driven by a 79-year-old DuBois woman failed to stop before entering Maple Avenue from South Eighth Street. Her vehicle subsequently collided with another driven by a 43-year-old Brookville woman. Both were towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.
- A false alarm was reported at the Falls Creek Sheetz on Wednesday.
- A Treasure Lake woman reported Thursday that she dropped several bags of donations off at the Good Will at the DuBois Mall. When she returned to leave another bag, she observed a mall security guard and another man going through the donations. Several items were allegedly already in the back of a mall security vehicle. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- A 37-year-old Reynoldsville woman reported Thursday that while staying at Cayman Landing, her 8-year-old son failed to check in with her at the specified time and she wasn’t sure of his location. At police arrival, the boy had been found playing with a friend.
- A 34-year-old DuBois woman reported Thursday that a vehicle struck the rear of her vehicle, while she was in the McDonald’s drive-thru. She exited her vehicle and confronted the other operator who then left the scene. The latter contacted police and related she didn’t impact the woman’s vehicle and was afraid of her, as she’d yelled at her.
- On Thursday, police responded to the Clarion Motel for a reported assault. A 52-year-old South Carolina man reported that he’d been visiting a friend on Hibbard Road and became involved in an altercation with another man regarding his employment with a gas company. The altercation was physical and was allegedly initiated by the other man. Charges are currently pending.
