Trinity United Methodist Church in Clearfield recently held its Vacation Bible School program. This year’s theme was Shake It Up Cafe. Each day, the children were greeted by Chef Basil, Scraps the raccoon, Chef Gourmando and his assistant Chip. They were also fed a delicious snack, played exciting games, made unique crafts, heard the daily bible story, and learned new things in the science center. Throughout the week, the children were encouraged to collect money for the local food bank, which is also housed at Trinity. The children were able to raise $237.91 for this very worthwhile cause. For more pictures and information, visit the church’s Web site or Facebook page.
