Gun Incident :: Idaho Man’s Name Released

CLEARFIELD – The name of the man involved in an incident involving a gun was released on Friday.

Victor Allaire Jr., 25 of Boise, ID, faces charges of firearms not to be carried without a license, persons not to possess, manufacture or transfer firearms and related charges.

The charges stem from an incident at the Country Hearth Motel for a report of a man in the bar causing a disturbance with a handgun. Officers arrived and found a 25-year-old Boise, ID man with a handgun.

After a brief investigation officers learned that he was in the bar causing a disturbance and trying to cause a fight with a number of Hispanic men. The Boise, ID man was arrested and placed in Clearfield County Jail.

Allaire’s preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 17.
