LUTHERSBURG – A section of state Route 4006 (Golden Yoke Road) near Luthersburg will be closed Aug. 15 through Aug. 22. Crews from PennDOT Clearfield County Maintenance will be working to replace the one-lane bridge with a new, two-lane box culvert. The bridge spans East Branch Creek in Brady Township, about two miles west of Luthersburg.
Work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Aug. 15 and last through the end of the day, Aug. 22. A detour will be in place during the project. Northbound drivers will use US Route 219 to SR 410 and back to SR 4006. Southbound drivers will use SR 410 to SR 4006.
PennDOT advises drivers to obey posted speed limits and follow all official detour signs. For more information on roadway construction and maintenance operations, visit PennDOT’s website at www.dot.state.pa.us.
