Cecelia R. Eckley, 93 of Philipsburg, passed away Aug. 7, 2011 at Altoona Regional Health System.
Born March 12, 1918 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Mary (Benson) Rodgers.
She was married on Jan. 13, 1939 in Milesburg, PA to Kenneth G. Eckley, who died Jan. 2, 1969.
She is survived by children:
Ron Eckley of Bellefonte
Harold “Boots” Eckley of Claysburg
Cecelia B. Harris of Philipsburg
And six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She is the last of her generation.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and one grandson.
She was a homemaker.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Funeral Services will be held at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, on Aug. 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Brenda K. Leigey officiating.
Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Aug. 10, 2011 from 6-8 p.m.
