- At 3:50 a.m. Sunday, a 30-year-old St. Marys man was pulled over for a routine traffic stop at the intersection of Rock Street and North Avenue after a violation along state Route 219. The man was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and transported for blood testing at the Elk Regional Health Center. Charges are to be filed for DUI and related summary traffic violations through the district court.
- An incident of burglary is being investigated that occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Aug. 2 and 8 a.m. Aug. 3 at the Detwiler Auto Service located in Johnsonburg. A person(s) gained entry by damaging a window on the eastern side of the garage. A 2001 Suzuki Z 400 all-terrain vehicle was removed from the garage; the ATV is yellow in color and has flag details on its fuel tank. The ATV is valued at approximately $3,000. - An incident of receiving stolen property is being investigated that occurred at 11:46 a.m. Aug. 3at a Ridgway Township residence.
- A person(s) entered a 63-year-old Kersey man’s parked vehicle on Fern Lane and removed an XM satellite radio, docking station and power cord sometime between 8:30 p.m. Aug. 1 and 9:30 a.m. Aug. 2.
