- The investigation continues into an incident of theft by unlawful taking and criminal mischief that occurred at an unknown time Monday in Penn Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) removed approximately 300 feet of copper wiring, cooper wiring to an electric box, an aluminum work bench, 120 feet of aluminum fascia and an oil furnace from a 36-year-old Grampian man’s rental property. The total amount stolen is estimated at $2,150. Damage is estimated at $200.
- An incident of criminal mischief was reported sometime between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday along Six Mile Road in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) took a garbage can owned by one victim and threw it at a mailbox box belonging to a second victim and damaging a third victim’s mailbox post.
- At 5:40 p.m. Thursday, a 62-year-old Englewood, CO man was stopped for a traffic violation along Interstate 80 westbound at mile marker 126 in Bradford Township, Clearfield County. After the stop, consent to search was requested and granted, and as a result, approximately half-ounce of marijuana and associated paraphernalia were discovered. Charges were filed at the district court.
- An incident of theft of a motor vehicle reportedly occurred sometime between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Thursday at an Ashland Road residence in Decatur Township, Clearfield County. A 45-year-old Osceola Mills man’s 1979 Honda XL500, which is red in color, was taken from his residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield-based state police at 814-857-3800.
