Clearfield Man Accused of Selling Cocaine to CI Waives Hearing

CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man accused of selling cocaine to a confidential informant waived his rights to preliminary hearings on Wednesday.

Duncan Solada is charged in four different cases with: manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, intentional possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered and criminal use of a communication facility.

Solada alledly sold cocaine to a CI on Sept. 21, 2010 at Mary’s Place in Clearfield. On Oct. 28, 2010 he is accused of selling cocaine to a CI outside of Mary’s Place. On March 28, 2011 he is accused of selling cocaine to a CI at Country Hearth Inn & Suites along state Route 879. On April 8 Solada is accused of selling cocaine to a CI at the same location.

In all instances the substance was identified by the state police Erie Regional Crime Lab as cocain.
