Carrie F. Johns, 87 of Bellefonte, passed away on Aug. 1, 2011 at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte.
Born July 11, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Claud and Martha (Cannel) Thomspon.
She was of Baptist faith. She worked for many years as a secretary for the Philipsburg-Osceola School District.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary Thompson.
She is survived by sons Brian Johns of Orlando, FL and Neal Johns and his wife Kristine of State College; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
There will be no public visitation or funeral.
Burial will be at Philipsburg Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg.
