Three Injured in Reynoldsville Accident

REYNOLDSVILLE  – State police in DuBois are investigating a two-vehicle accident that left three injured on Saturday.

According to police, Dean Sulin of DuBois was traveling west on US Route 322 at an excessive rate of speed. As he traveled over a bump on a bridge, he lost control and contact with the road. His vehicle began to rotate counter-clockwise while continuing west, sliding into the eastbound lane.

Deborah Long of Reynoldsville was traveling east on US Route 322 when Sulin’s vehicle slid into hers. Sulin’s vehicle then overturned onto its side.

Sulin was taken to DRMC for treatment of moderate injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt. His passenger, Kyle Shenkle of DuBois, was flown to UPMC Presbyterian for treatment of major injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt. Long was flown to Altoona Regional for treatment of major injuries. It was unknown if she was wearing safety equipment.
