Donald P. Moore, 73, of Brisbin passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Altoona Regional Health System.
Born October 30, 1937, he was the son of the late Chilles D. and Lanetta Moore.
Mr. Moore served in the United States Navy and was employed as a maintenance supervisor for F.C.I. Electionics until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Moore; two sons, Michael and his fiance Belinda Shaffer of Morgantown, WV, Jeffery A. and his wife Amy of Smithmill; and one step-grandson, Devin Shaffer of Morgantown, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth and his beloved dog, Hans.
Funeral services will be held at the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home in Houtzdale on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Mary Emery officiating.
Friends will be received on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday until the hour of services.
