- A person(s) forcibly entered a Henrietta Street residence through a rear door and removed a plastic bag of prescribed medications and a pair of binoculars sometime between 2 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Chester Hill Borough. Approximately 12 to 15 bottles of medication were removed with the binoculars, which had a total value of $75. In addition, damage to the rear door was estimated at $100. - A person(s) forcibly entered APEX Hydraulic & Machine Inc. through a rear door sometime between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. Thursday in Decatur Township. Once inside, they rummaged through the entire building, and before leaving the building, they turned on both the hot and cold water. Plumbing to the kitchen sink was also removed, causing water damage inside the building. Property damage is estimated at $1,000. The investigation is ongoing at this time. - A 17-year-old male juvenile subjected another 17-year-old male juvenile to physical contact at approximately 10 p.m. Thursday in Brisbin Borough. Charges have been filed against the accused for harassment through the district court.
- A person(s) threw three rocks at a 52-year-old Frenchville man’s vehicle, causing damage to the hood and windshield sometime between 5 p.m. Wednesday and 5:50 a.m. Thursday along Graham Station Road in the Keller Tire parking lot in Decatur Township. - No injuries were reported in a single-vehicle accident at 6:21 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of state Route 729 with SR 969 in Lumber City Borough. Michael P. Ciamacco, 31, of Grampian was traveling south downhill at which time the brakes failed on his truck. He wasn’t able to maintain control, and it struck an embankment and overturned. Ciamacco was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the mishap. His truck sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. Ciamacco wasn’t issued any citations due to equipment failure.
- Charges are currently pending against a 39-year-old Houtzdale man who was arrested for suspected driving under the influence at approximately 9:35 p.m. Thursday along state Route 153 in Woodward Township. The accused was stopped for a traffic violation by the state police and was taken to the barracks for blood testing.
- Two Houtzdale women engaged in a verbal altercation, which escalated into physical contact at 8:36 p.m. Wednesday at an Atlantic Avenue address in Bigler Township.
- A 22-year-old Philipsburg woman was transported to the Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries after a single-vehicle accident at 5:28 p.m. Wednesday on Schoonover Road in Graham Township. A Bronco operated by Jona R. Haggans, 22, of Philipsburg traveled off the right side of the road for unknown reasons and struck a tree. She was wearing her seatbelt. Her passenger, a six-month-old infant, was in a car seat and not injured. Her Bronco sustained severe damage to the front end and was towed from the scene.
