A crew from Penn State’s Office of Physical Plant began constructing the Arts Festival shell stage July 7 on the lawn of Old Main on Penn State’s University Park campus. The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts begins July 13 with Children and Youth Day and continues until July 17.
The festival shell stage has been a hallmark location for a wide variety of musical performances throughout the festival’s history. Preparations for the festival will continue on the University Park campus and in downtown State College, Pa., during the next few days. To view photos of the construction of the shell, visit online.
