BECCARIA TOWNSHIP – State police in Clearfield are investigating a fatal accident that occurred on Fridayon state Route 53.
According to police, a 48-year-old Imler man was traveling north and veered into the southbound lane, where he struck 63-year-old Marie Spicer’s vehicle head-on. Spicer died as a result of the accident, while the Imler man suffered moderate injuries. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
Police listed the nature of the accident as a fatal crash DUI.
