CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Little League 9-and-10 All-Stars drew a bye for Friday’s opening round of the District 5 Northern Tier Tournament and will host Curwensville or Tri-County in a winner’s bracket semifinal Saturday at 6 p.m. at McNamee Field.
Four-Leaf Clover, Philipsburg-Osceola and Milesburg are the other teams in the double-elimination tourney that continues through the first week the first week of July.
Vying for the Southern Tier title will be Bellefonte, Big Valley, Marion Walker, Mifflin County, Penns Valley, Pleasant Gap, State College American and State College National.
The tier survivors will meet July 7, 8 and, if necessary, 9 to determine the District 5 champion.
