DUBOIS – Police are investigating a fire that occurred in the City of DuBois over the weekend.
According to the state police in DuBois, a fire marshal, the DuBois City Police Department and the DuBois Fire Department are investigating a fire that occurreda t 107 S. Jared St. The fire destroyed the two-story residential dwelling. At the time of the fire, the home was occupied by three adults and two children. They made it out safely, however, a cat and dog perished in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and damage is estimated at $50,000.
